Fact-Checking Policy
Last updated: September 30, 2026
Fact-checking an astrology site means being honest about which claims can be checked at all. zodiacsglow.com splits its content into two groups and treats each appropriately.
Claims we can verify
Planetary positions, moon phases, retrograde periods, sign date ranges, calendar conversions, arithmetic in numerology, and historical statements about the tradition. These have correct answers, and we check them against standard references and, for calculators, against known test values.
Sign date ranges get special attention. Sign boundaries shift by about a day between years, so a fixed date table is wrong for many readers. Our tools compute the Sun’s position instead of looking dates up.
Claims we cannot verify, and how we handle them
What a placement means is interpretation, and no amount of checking makes it empirical. Our obligation there is different: to represent the tradition accurately, to attribute it, and to make clear that it is tradition. Where sources conflict, we say so. Where a popular belief has no real basis in the tradition, we say that too.
Before publication
Every article is read against this policy: figures verified, interpretation attributed, and the line between the two visible to the reader.
After publication
Material is rechecked when its data changes and when readers tell us something looks off. Errors are fixed in the open, following the Corrections Policy.
